Honda Cup NZ Championship
The Honda Cup NZ Series includes 4 Championships which run in parallel

An overall Honda Cup NZ Championship.

Group A Championship - This is for the fastest modified cars.

Group N Championship - This is for the Production style cars.

Modern Turbo Championship -This is for Production style Modern Turbo cars.
We have separate regulations for each Group to promote close racing, and to encourage a cost effective series, where you don't need to spend $1000's to be the fastest on track.
The control tyre for the championship proudly supplied by Kumho Tyres.
Group A is for the fastest modified cars.
It includes categories A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5.
The category rules are set to level out the field to provide close racing, the modifications permitted depend on the category.
A1 - up to 1800cc - Modifications permitted.
A2 - K20 - Stock longblock.
A3 - 1801cc to 2000cc - Modifications permitted.
A4 - K24A - Stock longblock.
A5 - 2200cc - 2400cc K24A Modifications permitted.
AP - Prototype
Eligible Vehicles
All vehicles must be Honda production vehicles of ‘closed vehicle’ unitary construction and produced since 1989, including, but not limited to: EF, EG, EK, DA, DC2, DC5, EP, ES, FD, FK, CRZ, AP, CL,GD, and GK.
Group N is for Production style cars.
It includes categories N1, N2, N3.
The category rules are set to level out the field to provide close racing, the modifications permitted depend on the category.
N1 - EF, EG, EK Civics and DA, DC, DB Integras.
N2 - CD, CF, CL Accords, DC5 Integra, EP, FN, FD Civics, and BA, BB Preludes.
N3 - FK2, FK8, FL5 Civics.
All categories must run the factory fitted engine.

Series Entry Information
Entry fee for the 2026/27 Championship is $300
